On June 17, 2022, the Office of Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) submitted an application for the 2022-23 Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) grant to the Florida Department of Agriculture for the following schools: Cambridge Elementary, Endeavour Elementary, and Saturn Elementary. As a reminder, the Board was informed of the application submittal at the June 14, 2022 meeting.  We are pleased to report that all three schools have been selected to participate in this program which has a grant program time frame of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 for elementary schools.  Funding has been awarded at $161,925 and does not require a grant match. FNS will be reviewing the resources provided by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on guidance for operating the program.  FNS will partner with Cambridge, Endeavour, and Saturn Elementary schools to ensure all criteria for successfully operating the FFVP are met throughout the school year.

Accept the grant for Cambridge, Endeavour, and Saturn Elementary schools to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the 2022-23 school year.
