| Discussion After several sessions of bargaining, a tentative Memorandum of Agreement was reached with the Brevard Federation of Teachers to provide for a safe return for teachers while reopening schools during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The clauses contained in this memorandum help ensure that teachers are working with Brevard Public Schools to meet all of the requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Education to reopen for the 2020-21 school year. An electronic vote was approved by PERC and held from August 31 through September 4. The teachers ratified the Memorandum of Agreement with 94.5% voting to approve the amendments. A total of 2115 ballots were cast. | ||||||||||||||||||
