Discussion

The City of Titusville Police Department would like to use part of Building 3 at Titusville High School as a substation for officers to use for solely administrative tasks. Titusville High School Administration is supportive of this request, as this would provide additional law enforcement presence on campus. This building is in area of campus easily accessible to US 1. 

The District will make minor modifications to the locks to separate that portion of the building that will be used by Titusville Police Department. 

The Interlocal Agreement has been reviewed by Legal Counsel, Risk Management and District Security.

The Interlocal Agreement has been provided to the City of Titusville for their consideration. 

Recommendation

Approve the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Titusville for partial use of Building 3 at Titusville High School subject to any minor revisions that may be requested by the City of Titusville that are acceptable to the District's General Counsel.
