Space Coast Jr/Sr High School's Wrestling Team, 18 male students accompanied by 4 BPS male employees, and 1-3 additional registered male chaperones, are requesting approval to travel to Bluffton, South Carolina on December 28-31, 2022, to participate in the May River Wrestling Tournament at May River High School. College scouts from around the country will be at this event. The group plans to leave from Space Coast Jr/Sr High School on Wednesday, December 28th at approximately 12:00 p.m. in two school-based passenger vans and one van rented through an approved BPS vendor.  They will arrive at the Hampton Inn located at 29 William Pope Drive in Bluffton, South Carolina at approximately 5:00 p.m. The group will return on Saturday, December 31st at approximately 3:30 p.m. Student cost is $100.  All costs will be funded by various approved fundraisers and by the booster club. THERE IS NO COST TO THE DISTRICT. Students will not miss any school days.
