| Discussion The sales surtax renewal plan includes funding for electrical renewal at Holland Elementary School. Wharton Smith, Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in an amount not to exceed $518,180 under their continuing contract for construction management services for the project based on a design submitted by DDC Engineering Inc. under their continuing contract for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services. This project will utilize funds allocated in the 2020 sales surtax plan for the electrical project at Holland Elementary supplemented by unused funds from the 2014 sales surtax allocated for facility renewal at Holland Elementary. Administration and permitting costs have been previously budgeted. Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard agreement template has been used which does not require legal review.
