| Discussion The School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Wharton Smith, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $139,265 under their continuing contract for design build services for access control modifications at McAuliffe Elementary School in response to the Security Assessment and operational review by District Security. At the District's request, Wharton Smith, Inc. has submitted an owner-directed change order in the amount of $18,531.39 to provide additional features for operational functionality. The project will be funded through capital designated for security. Board approval is required for change orders over $50,000 or over 10% of the contract amount. The standard change order form has been used which does not require legal review.
