Atlantis Elementary School - Construction Management Services - SALES SURTAX RENEWAL
Consent w/o Information - 11/16/2021
The 2020 Sales Surtax Renewal Plan includes structural pavilion renewal at Atlantis Elementary School in year 1.
Heard Construction, Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in an amount not to exceed $301,391.85 for the Atlantis Elementary School structural pavilion renewal project under their continuing contract for construction management services. The scope of work includes pressure washing, corrosion control and painting two structural pavilions and the covered walkways. The duct crossover canopies will also be addressed as needed. The project will be funded through the 2020 sales surtax renewal plan and capital as the scope of work is more extensive than what was funded in the sales surtax plan. Administration and permitting have been previously budgeted.
Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review.
Approve the total project construction budget for the Atlantis Elementary School structural pavilion renewal project in the amount of $301,391.85
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Heard Construction, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $301,391.85 for the Atlantis Elementary School structural pavilion renewal project under their continuing contract for construction management services.
