The Melbourne High School Wrestling Team, approximately 20 students (18 male/2 female) accompanied by three male BPS employees and seven registered volunteers (6 male/1 female), are requesting approval to travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina to participate in the Coastal Clash Wrestling Tournament on December 9-12, 2021. The team will leave from Melbourne High School in vans rented from an approved BPS vendor at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 9th and return on Sunday, December 12th at approximately 7:00 p.m. Lodging will be provided at the Westin Hilton Head Resort in Hilton Head, SC. Students will miss two school days (December 9th & December 10th). Student cost is $150.00 which includes lodging and food. The remainder of funding for the  trip will come from various fundraisers, sponsorships, and family contributions. THERE IS NO COST TO THE DISTRICT.
