Titusville High School's NJROTC Orienteering Team, five students accompanied by two BPS employees (male and female), are requesting approval to travel to Rutledge, Georgia to participate in the Georgia Orienteering Advance Training Camp (G.O.A.T.) on June 12-17, 2022. The team qualified for the 2022 Navy National Orienteering Championships and were the 2022 Varsity Orienteering State Champions. Camp will be held at Hard Labor Creek near Rutledge, GA. This course is important in helping the team maintain its high level of performance. On Sunday, June 12, the group plans to leave from Titusville High School via van rented from a BPS approved vendor and return on Friday, June 17th. Lodging will be in camp cabins located at the training camp. Cost per student is $325 which includes transportation, lodging, and food. Students have conducted fundraisers to cover trip costs. All arrangements will be made by the NJROTC Booster club. THERE IS NO COST TO THE DISTRICT. An itinerary is attached.
