The locker room air conditioning project at Rockledge High School is included in the FY 20-21 capital plan. The project was previously designed as part of the Rockledge High School facility renewal project and is ready for construction. As this has been a longstanding need at the school, Facilities Services is proceeding with the project. 

Wharton Smith, Inc. (Wharton) has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in an amount not to exceed $209,150 under their continuing contract for construction management services. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $8,000.

Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard agreement template has been used, which does not require legal review.

Approve the total project construction budget in the amount of $217,150 for the locker room air conditioning project at Rockledge High School.

Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Wharton in an amount not to exceed $209,150 under their continuing contract for design build services for the locker room air conditioning project at Rockledge High School.
