This policy is being revised to clarify the procedures regarding staff requirements to report and other changes in compliance with applicable Florida law.
Particular areas of revision include the following: the Boards commitment to maintain a safe school environment and staff requirements to report unsafe, potentially harmful, dangerous, violent, or criminal activities, or the threat of these activities in accordance with Policy 8406.
These proposed revisions encompass the suggested language from NEOLA.

Recommendation
