| Discussion The next phase of the Group A security projects is in process based on the Security Assessments and operational review by District Security. Wharton Smith, Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price in an amount not to exceed $237,545 for the next phase of the Group A projects under their continuing contract for design build services based on a Design Criteria Package previously developed by District staff for security projects. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $10,000. Equipment is procured separately by the District and estimated to cost approximately $200,000. The project will be funded through 2020 sales surtax. Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
