West Shore Jr./Sr. High School - Construction Management Services
Consent w/o Information - 06/28/2022
The FY 22 capital plan includes $200,000 for secondary locker room renewal. The first of five projects is West Shore Jr./Sr. High School.
Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the locker room renewal at West Shore Jr./Sr. High School in an amount not to exceed $358,993.96 under their continuing contract for construction management services. The scope of work includes replacement of all lockers in the boys' and girls' physical education and athletics areas, six storage cabinets and painting the locker room. There is an 18 week lead time for the new lockers.
The project will be funded through FY 22 capital designated for secondary locker room renewal and temporarily funded through Facilities capital and later reimbursed from the FY 23 capital program which includes $400,000 for secondary locker room renewal projects. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $6,000.
Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review.
Approve the total project construction budget in the amount of $364,993.96 for the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School locker room renewal project.
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Canaveral Construction, Co., Inc. in an amount not to exceed $358,993.96 under their continuing contract for construction management services for the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School locker room renewal project .
