The purpose of the proposed revisions to the policy is to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, Florida State Board of Education Rules, Board policies, administrative rules, procedures, and guidelines. In addition, the proposed revisions promote transparency and accountability. This policy is being  revised to update strategies and terminology to be consistent with Policy 5121.

• The proposed revision modifies the threshold for implementing strategies to balance enrollment and capacity from 90% design capacity to 95% total capacity
• These proposed revisions do not encompass the suggested language from NEOLA.

Board Policy 7110 Student Accommodation will appear before the School Board on the dates indicated below:

• School Board Meeting (Information) - 6/14/22
• School Board Meeting (Public Hearing) / Approval - 6/28/22

Hold a hearing and approve Board Policy 7110 Student Accommodation.
