Titusville High School - Additional Construction Management Services
Consent w/o Information - 06/16/2020
At their January 14, 2020 meeting, the Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in an amount not to exceed $1,879,549.29 submitted by Ivey's Construction, Inc. for the sales surtax facility renewal project at Titusville High School under their continuing contract for construction management services.
The boiler also needs to be replaced and was not included in the initial scope of the project. There is an existing boiler in good condition at Jefferson Middle School that is not being used that can be repurposed to Titusville High School. Ivey's Construction, Inc. has submitted an owner-directed change order in an amount not to exceed $104,239 to relocate and refurbish the boiler from Jefferson Middle School to Titusville High School.
The project will be funded through capital.
Board approval is required for change orders over $50,000 or over 10%. The standard change order template has been used, which does not require legal review.
Approve Change Order #1 submitted by Ivey's Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $104,239 to relocate and refurbish the boiler from Jefferson Middle School to Titusville High School.
