Cocoa High School GMP #2 - Close Out
On March 27, 2018 , the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Wharton-Smith, Inc., for the Cocoa High School GMP #2 (sales surtax facility renewal) in the amount not to exceed $3,242,000.00. One change order $4,741.20 was subsequently approved, increasing the contract sum to $3,246,741.20.
The work has been completed and audited. The final project cost is $3,018,369.29 which includes $2,647,420.81 contracted costs and $370,948.48 owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $228,371.91.
Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official.
Authorize the Superintendent to sign FDOE OEF Form 209 - Certificate of Final Inspection for the project.
