Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE)

The district has received notification of an entitlement award for a grant funded program from the Florida Department of Education. The Title IV, Part A preliminary allocation for the 2022-2023 program period is in the amount of $1,259,887.00. Funds are allocated based on the Title I formula. Title IV, Part A funding is intended to provide students with access to a well-rounded education, improve safe and healthy school conditions for student learning, and improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students. The allocation includes a proportional share of funds for charter schools within Brevard Public Schools’ boundaries, as well as equitable services for non-public schools. There are no matching requirements for Title IV, Part A. Awarded funds under Title IV, Part A must be fully obligated by August 31, 2023 or earlier if so identified by the Florida Department of Education. Upon completion, a full copy of the application shall be available for review in the Secondary Leading and Learning Department.
Approve the development and submission of 2022-2023 Title IV, Part A Project Application.
