Satellite High School - Construction Management Services
Consent w/o Information - 06/13/2023
A drainage outfall pipe serving the Satellite High School parking areas and campus has collapsed.The pipe collapse is near the edge of pavement so the pipe needs to be expeditiously repaired to avoid pavement damage.
Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price in an amount not to exceed $60,495.54 under their continuing contract for construction management services. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $5,000. The project will be funded through capital.
Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review.
Approve the total project construction budget for the Satellite High School drainage pipe repair in the amount of $65,495.54.
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. in amount not to exceed $60,495.54 under their continuing contract for construction management services for the Satellite High School drainage pipe repair.
