Recommendation
Approve the listed administrative staff recommendations:
- Accept the retirement of Lori Braga from the position of Principal at Indialantic Elementary School, effective June 30, 2023.
- Accept the resignation of Vernon H. Cole from the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) at MILA Elementary School, effective July 31, 2023.
- The reclassification/transfer of Terrence R. Haus from the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) at Central Middle School to the position of Teacher at Kennedy Middle School, on annual contract, effective August 3, 2023.
- Accept the position change Jeffrey E. Coverdale from the position of Acting Principal, board approved on April 25, 2023, to the position of Principal at Golfview Elementary School, effective on the issuance date of his certification of June 8, 2023.
- The appointment of Colleen Lord to the position of Principal at Indialantic Elementary School, on annual contract, effective July 1, 2023. Annual salary based on grade 26 of the Nonbargaining Salary Administration Program.
- The reclassification/transfer of Kevin L. Robinson from the position of Athletic Director (10 month) at Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School to the position of County Athletic Director (12 month), on annual contract, effective June 19, 2023. Annual salary based on grade 24 of the Nonbargaining Salary Administration Program.
- The reclassification/transfer of Danielle N. Poley from the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) at Jackson Middle School to the position of Assistant Principal (12 month) at Gardendale Separate Day School, on annual contract, effective June 19, 2023. Annual salary based on grade 24 of the Nonbargaining Salary Administration Program.
- Rescind the appointment of Carol Cassidy Hauger, board approved on May 30, 2023, for the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) at Viera High School, due to personal reasons.
