Central Area Transportation - Design Build Services
Consent w/o Information - 07/30/2020
The underground fuel storage tanks at Central Area Transportation are being removed and replaced with above ground fuel storage tanks, including catwalks and ladders.
Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price in an amount not to exceed $720,648 for the project under their continuing contract for design build services. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $10,000. The Design Criteria Package (DCP) was prepared by staff.
This project was originally funded in the FY 20 capital budget but was deferred pending additional capital funding allocation in the FY 21 capital budget.
Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000.
Approve the project construction budget in the amount of $730,648 to remove the underground fuel storage tanks at Central Area Transportation and install new above ground fuel storage tanks.
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price in an amount not to exceed $720,648 submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. under their continuing contract for design build services to remove and replace the fuel storage tanks at Central Area Transportation.
