| Discussion This policy is being revised to clarify, update, and change language and procedures, and other changes in compliance with applicable Florida law. Particular areas of revision include the following: - Changes to the policy title: Removal, Out-of-School Suspension, Disciplinary Placement, and Expulsion of Students; and Sections: 1) Application Requirements for Earned Returned of Expelled and/or Students Whose Expulsion in Abeyance, 2) Out of District or State Misconduct, 3) Waiver of Suspension, 4) Expulsion, 5) Expulsion Hearings, 6) Non-Disputed Issues of Material Facts, 7) Disputed Issues of Material Fact; - Clarification to Suspension from Schools or from Riding School Bus; - Added language to Sections: Board Action, Final Order, and Appeal.
