Procurement & Distribution Services has earned the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials 2020 Award of Excellence in Public Procurement.

The program places emphasis on continuous process improvement and outstanding procurement practices. Earning this award serves as confirmation of the significant quality of an agency’s procurement process and demonstration of the commitment and contributions to the public procurement profession.

This prestigious award is earned only by those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score based on standardized criteria which measures innovation, organization, professionalism, source selection, productivity, e-procurement, process improvements, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.

As a point of interest, this is the eighth year that our School District has won this award, and we are one of only eighteen (18) agencies in Florida to receive this honor. The only other school districts included are Orange, Seminole, and Volusia County Public Schools.
