Discussion On January 23, 2018 , the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Canaveral Construction, Inc., for the Ralph M. Williams Elementary School facility renewal project in an amount not to exceed $1,413,152.00. The work has been completed and audited. The final project cost is $1,278,562.30 which includes $1,023,614.30 contracted costs and $254,948.00 owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $134,589.70. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official. NOTE: THE FORM IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING SIGNED, BUT MUST BE MAILED TO ALL OF THE PARTIES FOR ORIGINAL SIGNATURES AND SEAL.
