On January 25, 2017 , the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by McCree Design Builders, Inc., for the Sabal Elementary School facility renewal project in an amount not to exceed $1,864,794.00.  There was one approved change order making the new contract amount not to exceed $1,914,738.33.

The work has been completed and audited.  The final project cost is $1,805,382.89 which includes $1,597,687.33 contracted costs and $207,695.56 owner direct purchases.  The unused balance is $109,355.44.

Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official.

Authorize the Superintendent to sign FDOE OEF Form 209 - Certificate of Final Inspection for the project.
