Discussion On January 25, 2017 , the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by McCree Design Builders, Inc., for the Hoover Middle School facility renewal project in an amount not to exceed $2,829,158.00. There were three approved changes orders for this project, changing the contract amount to $ 2,716,493.20. The work has been completed and audited. The final project cost is $2,586,777.67 which includes $2,167,881.67 contracted costs and $418,896.00 owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $129,715.53. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official.
