The FY 22 capital plan included $200,000 for a concession stand at West Shore Jr./Sr. High School. West Shore does not have a concession stand supporting their outdoor athletics such as lacrosse and soccer. 

Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price for concession stand at West Shore Jr./Sr. High School in an amount not to exceed $350,334.36 under their continuing contract for construction management services, based on a design by Architects RZK under their continuing contract for architectural services. The scope of work includes 

The project will be funded through the FY 22 capital plan and an additional investment of $100,000 in the proposed FY 23 capital plan. West Shore Jr./Sr. High School is contributing $60,000 to the project.   Administration and permitting costs have been previously budgeted.

Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review. 

Approve the total project construction budget in the amount of $350,334.36 for the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School concession stand project.

Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Canaveral Construction, Co., Inc. in an amount not to exceed $350,334.36 under their continuing contract for construction management services for the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School concession stand project .
