| Discussion Portables that are no longer suitable for classroom use are given to schools for storage for the remainder of their useful life. Storage portables N099 and N106 are no longer suitable for use and are uneconomical to repair: The Office of Environmental Health & Safety performed inspections and found the condition to be beyond reasonable repair; therefore, demolition of these storage portables is recommended. Demolition will be handled by Plant Operations & Maintenance. The cost per unit for disposal at the land fill is approximately $1,500.
