| Discussion On March 23, 2021, the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., Inc., for the Cocoa High School and Endeavour Elementary Canopy Covered Walkway Pilot project in an amount not to exceed $572,007.71. The work has been completed. The final project cost is $501,928.59 which includes $403,987.69 contracted costs and $97,940.90 in owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $70,079.12. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official. | ||||||||||||||||||
