Palm Bay Magnet High School's MCJROTC Air Rifle Team, five students accompanied by one male BPS employee and one female registered volunteer, are requesting approval to travel to Chandler, Arizona to compete in the MCJROTC Air Rifle National Service Championships on February 2-6, 2022. The group plans to depart from Palm Bay Magnet High School on Wednesday, February 2nd and return on Sunday, February 6th. Transportation will be by private vehicle to Orlando International Airport then via commercial airlines to Phoenix, Arizona. Returning transportation will be by approved rental vehicle to Phoenix International Airport then via commercial airline to Orlando International Airport.  Students will miss three school days (February 2nd, 3rd, and 4th). Lodging will be provided at Drury Inns and Suites Phoenix, Chandler Fashion Center, 1205 S. Price Rd., Chandler, AZ 85286. Students are responsible for meal cost only. All arrangements and other costs will provided by the U.S. Marine Corps JROTC HQ, Quantico, VA. THERE IS NO COST TO THE DISTRICT. A detailed itinerary and additional information is attached.
