The primary classrooms at Endeavour Elementary School do not have restrooms in the classrooms, which detracts from the learning environment.  

Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price in an amount not to exceed $630,494 to retrofit the classrooms with restrooms, based on a design by OCI and Associates, Inc. under their continuing contract for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP) engineering services. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $8,000.

The project was partially funded in the FY 19/20 capital budget ($250,000). The balance is being supplemented from the Facilities Services capital allocation.

Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000.

Approve the project budget in the amount of $638,494 to retrofit the primary classrooms with restrooms at Endeavour Elementary School.

Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price in an amount not to exceed $630,494 submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. under their continuing contract for construction management services to retrofit the primary classrooms with restrooms at Endeavour Elementary School.
