| Discussion This policy is being revised to clarify the procedures for ensuring all staff have access to suicide prevention resources through professional development. Particular areas of revision include a decrease in in-service training requirements hours; decrease from 2.5 to 2.0. New legislation, CS/CS/House Bill (HB) 945, requiring crisis response services through mobile response teams (MRT) has added areas of revision to include the following: (1) de-escalation strategies; Suicide Risk Inquiry (SRI)Consultant's role; and (3) the Mobile Response Team (MRT) involvement. These proposed revisions encompass the suggested language from NEOLA. | ||||||||||||||||||
