Approve the listed administrative staff recommendations: The appointment of Sherry Greene to the position of Director of Budgeting, Cost Accounting and FTE, on annual contract, effective March 11, 2022. Annual salary based on grade 29 of the Nonbargaining Salary Administration Program. The resignation of Latasha L. Bowens from the position of Principal at Madison Middle School, effective March 7, 2022. The transfer of Teramarie Scott from the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) at Creel Elementary School to the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) at Port Malabar Elementary School, on annual contract, effective February 28, 2022. Annual salary based on grade 22 of the Nonbargaining Salary Administration Program. The reclassification of Brian D. Callinan from the position of Assistant Principal (10 month) to the position of Assistant Principal (12 month) at Hoover Middle School, on annual contract, effective February 23, 2022. Annual salary based on grade 23 of the Nonbargaining Salary Administration Program.

Mr. Susin asked if there was Board support to amend the policy to allow public speakers who signed up to address a Board discussion item the opportunity to speak at the Public Comments (Agenda Items) portion of the agenda, which would allow 3 minutes. There was not support to make this change.  Mr. Gibbs stated that there is an opportunity for a Board Member to make a motion to move the Public Comments (Non-Agenda Items) on the evening of the meeting.

Individuals or groups may address comments to the School Board at any regular meeting by following established procedures:  Agenda Items (10 speakers or less will have three minutes; 11-20 speakers will have two minutes; and 21 or more speakers will have one minute.  Non-Agenda Items (Each speaker will have one minute.)   A speaker's time may not be allocated to others.  All attendees must register his or her intention to speak in the public portion of the meeting upon arrival by completing a speaker's form.  The signup period for all public comments, both agenda and non-agenda, will close at the start of the Board meeting.
