Item is up for discussion related to barriers which include eating with students for lunch and others that were implemented during COVID. These procedures inhibit parental involvement/interactions at our schools. The discussion item is added to get direction from the school board to have staff identify all existing parental barrier procedures at the schools and bring back to the board for approval on February 21st school board meeting to allow more access for parents to become a larger role with our schools.
