Discussion The 2021-22 to 2025-26 District Facilities Work Program, often referred to as the Five-Year Work Plan, provides the Florida Legislature with detailed data regarding the School District's projected sources of capital funds and proposed uses of those capital funds for the next five years. It also provides projected Capital Outlay Full Time Equivalents (COFTE), student capacity and capital funding requirements for the Ten-Year Long-Range Plan and Twenty-Year Long-Range Plan. The Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning and School Concurrency requires transmittal to the municipalities/county at least 15 days prior to the Board meeting. The draft Five-Year Work Plan was transmitted to the municipalities/county through the Capital Outlay Committee on November 30, 2021. The first year of the Five-Year Work Plan is based on the School District's budget for FY 2021-22 and the Ten-Year Capital Outlay Funding Plan. The Five-Year Work Plan includes educational facilities impact fee funding and project schedules for five student station capacity projects and two other major capital projects. These projects were presented at the Board Workshop on November 16, 2021, except for the classroom addition project at South Lake Elementary. Elementary Leading and Learning has requested consideration of adding 8-10 classrooms at South Lake Elementary which would support an additional class at every grade level. | ||||||||||||||||||
