The purpose of the proposed new policy is to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, Florida State Board of Education Rules, Board policies, administrative rules, procedures, and guidelines. In addition, the proposed new policy promotes transparency and accountability.

• This policy is being added to adopt NEOLA language and combine former policies po3575 and po3580 into one policy covering all aspects of political activity.
• po3575 and po3580 are being rescinded.
• This policy is being added to clarify the procedures regarding political activity, and other changes in compliance with applicable Florida law.
• These proposed revisions encompass the suggested language from NEOLA.



Board Policy 3232 Political Activities is currently proposed and will appear before the School Board on the dates indicated below:

• School Board Meeting Information – 9/19/23
• School Board Meeting Approval – 10/10/23
