| Discussion The School Board accepted the Superintendent’s recommendation to terminate the employment of teacher Lisa S. Lemieux at its meeting held April 23, 2019 due to unsatisfactory performance pursuant to Florida Statute 1012.34. Ms. Lemieux requested an administrative hearing and the matter was referred to the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) for a formal hearing. A final hearing was held on December 10 and 11, 2019 before Administrative Law Judge Linzie F Bogan. On March 16, 2020 the ALJ entered a recommended order based on the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law that the School Board of Brevard County enter a final order terminating Ms. Lemieux’s employment as a teacher. No exceptions to the recommended order were filed and the Board’s attorney has reviewed the recommended order. | ||||||||||||||||||
