| Discussion On June 12,2018, the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Wharton Smith, Inc., for District School Security GMP #4 in the amount not to exceed $719,352.00. The work has been completed and audited. The final Project cost is $625,736.79, which includes $513,188.37 contracted costs and $112,548.42 owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $93,615.21. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000.00 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official. NOTE: THE FORM IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING SIGNED, BUT MUST BE MAILED TO ALL OF THE PARTIES FOR ORIGINAL SIGNATURES AND SEAL. | ||||||||||||||||||
