Gardendale Alternative Learning Center - Design Services - SALES SURTAX
Consent w/o Information - 04/27/2021
The 2014 sales surtax plan and the 2021 sales surtax renewal plan includes funding for facility renewal at Gardendale.
The scope of work will include HVAC, electrical, fire alarm and intercom renewal.
OCI Associates, Inc. has submitted a design proposal in an amount not to exceed $181,430 under their continuing services contract for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $10,000. The design will be funded through 2014 sales surtax allocated for facility renewal at Gardendale.
Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard agreement template has been used which does not require legal review.
Approve the total design budget in the amount of $191,430 for the facility renewal project at Gardendale.
Approve the design proposal submitted by OCI Associates, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $181,430 under their continuing contract for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the facility renewal project at Gardendale.
