| Discussion The School Board of Brevard County functions as the governing body for the Head Start program. The purpose of this board agenda item is to formally submit the 2020 Self-Assessment Report and the February 2021 Head Start Monthly Report. The monthly report includes enrollment, number of meals served, year-to-date budget (including p-card expenses) and reports from Head Start content area specialists. The data and information contained is these reports may be useful for overseeing the provision of quality services for children and families and to ensure progress toward schools readiness. Grant regulations require these elements to be reported to the Governing Board and Policy Council on a regular basis. | ||||||||||||||||||
