Discussion The district has received notification of award for a grant funded program authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The Project Award Notification for the Instructional Continuity Plans (ICP) Program is in the amount of $154,376.00. ICP funding is intended to support the development of Instructional Continuity Plans to ensure continuity of the instructional and learning support services provided when standard operating procedures are disrupted due to emergency situations, including related professional learning activities and plan for implementation. The allocation includes $3,000.00 for each charter school within Brevard Public Schools, as well as equitable services for non-public schools to include ICP consultation, as requested. There are no matching requirements for the CARES Act ICP Program. Awarded funds under the ICP Program must be fully obligated by February 20, 2022 or earlier if so identified by the Florida Department of Education.
