Enterprise Elementary Facility Renewal - Close Out
On January 14, 2020, the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., for the Enterprise Elementary School Facility Renewal project in an amount not to exceed $1,026,793.70. Subsequently, a change order was approved increasing the contract amount to $1,046,006.06.
The work has been completed and audited. The final project cost is $993,934.13 which includes $912,694.13 contracted costs and $81,240.00 in owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $52,071.93.
Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official.
Authorize the Superintendent to sign FDOE OEF Form 209 - Certificate of Final Inspection for the project.
