| Discussion Building system commissioning is a Florida Building Code requirement for major mechanical (HVAC) systems. Commissioning is an independent review of the HVAC system to ensure it is functioning in accordance with the design requirements. Affiliated Engineers, SE, Inc. has submitted a proposal for commissioning the new middle school mechanical system in the amount of $55,650 under their continuing contract for building system commissioning.
