Discussion On February 9, 2021, the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., for the Manatee Elementary School Building #4 Exterior Repairs/Site Drainage project in an amount not to exceed $303,228.72. Subsequently, a change orders were approved increasing the amount to $334,666.61. The work has been completed. The final project cost is $326,068.93. The unused balance is $8,597.68. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official. | ||||||||||||||||||
