Discussion The District is working through a multi-year capital program to rubberize all high school tracks. The last two projects are Titusville High School and Palm Bay Magnet High School. These projects are funded through capital as they do non include a renewal component. Both projects are included in the FY 24 capital plan but will be advance funded through current year available capital. The project construction schedules were coordinated with each school. Wharton Smith, Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal in an amount not to exceed $856,267 for the track rubberization project at Titusville High School . The scope of work includes milling, resurfacing, rubberizing and striping the existing track, curb replacement (as needed), drainage improvements and fencing. Add alternates for field events are available for funding by the school. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $15,000. The Titusville High School track project was designed by Gale Associates, Inc. under their continuing contract for civil engineering services. Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
