| Discussion The Student Accommodation Plan approved by the School Board on April 11 includes relocation of one portable classroom from Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School to Pinewood Elementary School. This will provide additional classroom capacity at Pinewood Elementary. Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in an amount not to exceed $147,422.35 under their continuing contract for design build services based on the Design Criteria Package prepared by District staff. Administration and permitting costs are estimated at $12,000. The project will be funded through current capital funds remaining for portable refurbishment since there are no funds budgeted for relocation this fiscal year. A capital project is proposed in FY 24 to continue funding for refurbishment and/or relocation. Board approval is required for purchase orders over $50,000. The standard form of the agreement has been used which does not require legal review.
