Palm Bay Magnet High School and Central Middle School's Technology Student Association, thirty-five students accompanied by three BPS employee (two males/one female) and one male registered volunteer, are requesting permission to travel to Louisville, KY to compete in the National Technology Student Association Conference from June 28 to July 2, 2023. Students will be transported to Orlando International Airport by their parents then fly as a group to Louisville, KY and return on July 2nd. Local transportation will be provided by taxi. Cost per student is approximately $784. Funding is provided by approved fundraisers throughout the year by the TSA chapter and individual responsibility. Advisors are funded by CTE. THERE IS NO OTHER COST TO THE DISTRICT. 

Recommendation

Approve the request of Palm Bay Magnet High School and Central Middle School's Technology Student Association, thirty-five students accompanied by three BPS employee (two males/one female) and one male registered volunteer, to travel to Louisville, KY to compete in the National Technology Student Association Conference from June 28 to July 2, 2023.
