| Discussion The sales surtax renewal program includes funding for roof renewal at South Lake Elementary School (year 1), Apollo Elementary School (year 2) and Imperial Estates Elementary School (year 2). The District issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ 21-345-Q-DR) for the project. Proposals were received from eight design firms. Four firms were shortlisted, interviewed and ranked as follows:
Staff is recommending that the Board authorize the design build contract with Gale Associates/South/Inc. as the top-ranked firm. The standard agreement template has been used, which does not require legal review. The design services task orders will be considered separately.
