| Discussion On January 14, 2020, the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Heard Construction Co., for the Riverview Elementary School Facility Renewal project in an amount not to exceed $475,638.69. The work has been completed. The final project cost is $460,570.72 which includes $237,754.50 contracted costs and $222,816.22 owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $15.067.97. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official. NOTE: THE FORM IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING SIGNED, BUT MUST BE MAILED TO ALL OF THE PARTIES FOR ORIGINAL SIGNATURES AND SEAL | ||||||||||||||||||
