Matt Susin had members from the Melbourne High School Robotics team reach out to him and he wanted to share this information with the Board.  He explained the various ways the district supports athletics and other school team representatives that have advanced to State level competitions.  He shared that the Melbourne High Robotics team is going international and asked if the Board would support having Dr. Mullins look into funding to support their efforts.

Dr. Mullins explained that Dr. Soliven is already working with the Melbourne team to find potential supplements to support this endeavour.

It is, therefore, a paramount duty of the state to make adequate provision for the education of all children residing within its borders.
