| Discussion The 2020 sales surtax renewal program includes funding for roof renewal at Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School. The District issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ 23-254-Q-HD) for construction management services for the project based on a design by PBA Design Group, Inc. (RFQ 21-346-Q-DR). Three firms responded to the solicitation, one of which was a no-bid. Two firms were shortlisted and ranked as follows:
Staff recommends that the Board authorize the construction management contract with Wharton Smith, Inc. as the top-ranked firm. The Guaranteed Maximum Price is under negotiation and will be considered at the April 25, 2023 School Board meeting. The standard agreement template has been used, which does not require legal review. | ||||||||||||||||||
